Custom Retail Hem Tags

On a new Hem Tag design, there is an additional 3-4 weeks added to stand turnaround time. For a reorder, it’s only an additional 5 day turnaround for manufacturing and production.

In addition to the cost of manufacturing the Hem Tags, there is the additional cost of adding these Hem Tags to your product. The cost varies from $.50 - $2.00 per garment depending on the quantity.

The most common Hem tag size is 1" x 1" is a square. However, this isn't a rigid standard, Whether it's 0.8", 1.25", 1.5" width, or any other dimensions dictated by your artwork, we can produce accordingly.

We are happy to create your hem tags for you. Keep in mind that hem tags generally take 3-4 weeks to be made. Therefore, we can only create hem tags on our standard, 2-week turnaround orders, plus another 1-2 weeks to manufacture the hem tags. However, this extra 1-2 weeks is only needed on your first order of hem tags. Once we have your hem tags in stock, there is only an additional 3-day turnaround for attaching them to your garments. To have labels in stock with us, we recommend you order far more than you need on your first order. We'll keep the rest in stock and ready to use on your subsequent orders.

If you'd rather source the labels yourself (or already have them), you can send them to us to use on your orders. Please ship them to your account manager's attention so we know how to identify them once they’ve reached our door.

The neck of the shirt can also be relabeled by removing the stock manufacturing label and replacing it with a custom woven label, which is typically placed “under the tape,” though it can be placed “over the tape” if you prefer. "Under the tape" simply means under the seam, "over the tape" is sewn over the seam.

We do not sell custom hem tags by themselves, but only with the purchase of a custom printed order in which we're using the hem tags on the order.
