• Our waterbase inks (unlike most plastisol inks) are phthalate and PVC free. What are phthlates? In 2008 the US Congress banned phthalates in concentrations over 0.1% in the use of children’s clothing and toys. PVC is also facing a number of bans in other of uses. Not only is waterbase ink far more eco-friendly than traditional plastisol inks, its far safer and much comfortable to wear!

  • Unlike plastisol ink (which lasts forever), our waterbase ink has a shelf life. Rather than simply throwing out the leftover unused ink after a project, we recycle and reuse it. We’ll throw it in our “recycled ink” jars and offer clients a discount if they use it rather than new ink.

  • After using our soybean cleaners, they generally head down the sink drain into the dark abyss. However, before they reach that dark abyss, they first travel through our amazing filter system to be filtered clean of chunky debris.

  • There’s no way around it, ink is messy and chemicals are generally needed to clean things up. Fortunately, our chemicals are made from soybean oils, which means they’re not only natural and biodegradable, but they make the shop smell good too :)
