Mudlove For Africa Shirts

Mudlove Pottery ash white stripe

Last fall we met Luke from Mudlove Pottery in Winona Lake Indiana.  He had a similar passion for Africa and kicks back a portion of his custom pottery sales for clean water initiatives in Africa.  We were lucky enough to print custom shirts for him recently.

We printed a light blue waterbase ink on American Apparel v-necks in lemon, light blue and ash white stripe.  Enjoy!

Passion To Action Shirts Hit The Bus Trail

Passion To Action circles shirt print

I met Jay from Passion To Action during a series from Summit Church in Orlando called Dignity Serves.  We focused on the area of service, particularly what service is, what service does and does not do, both for the apparent "server" and "servee".

The overlying premise of Dignity Serves was the fact that service actually tends to "serve" the one serving more than it does the one whom is "being served."  Now, I use the term "being served" very lightly here and wish I had a better word.  Lets transition this from server and servee to an example of a volunteer and homeless person.

In most cases, the volunteer would offer some kind of service to the homeless person.  This could be food, water, clothes, prayers, shelter, etc.  The volunteer tends to feel good or great from their "act of service."  In the volunteer feeling good, they assume the homeless person also feels good, getting a nice boost in some form, whether it be food, water, clothes, etc.

The fact is, while the volunteer is left with a positive feeling from their service, the homeless person is actually left with a void, a sense of lesser being.  Through needing help, they feel helpless.  They are stripped of their dignity, hence Dignity Serves.

Dignity Serves focuses on two way service.  Where as service was shown from the volunteer to the homeless person, ultimately service is shown from the homeless person to the volunteer in order to avoid stripping the homeless person of their dignity.  Most individuals in such a situation (a homeless person in our example) would generally not recognize their ability to offer a reciprocal act of service, but they do indeed have the assets to return a favor.  It just takes recognizing the asset the homeless person possesses and matching it with the volunteers need.

The volunteer will often have to ask for help, but asking can have the effect of empowering the homeless individual, letting them feel a sense of worth and ability to not just be helped, but offer help!  Not just be served, but offer service.  Rather than taking ones dignity, this reciprocal act can transform individuals to a feeling of worth.  Dignity is raised and lifted rather than stripped and beaten down.  Dignity Serves.

Getting back to Jay from Passion To Action, we recently put together and printed a few designs for he and his crew.  Above is one, I'll follow with more.

Below is a map of the Passion To Action travel schedule.  For more, check out www.passiontoaction.org.

UCF Seniors End The Parade Shining In Foil Shirts

Senior foil shirts

Senior foil shirt close up

Some lucky UCF seniors received a nice shiny going away present from some fellow friends this week.  We printed these custom silver foil shirts which came out amazing!  Needless to say, these girls were pretty stoked with the result they handed to their going away seniors.

We used a bright teal discharge ink with the silver foil on black American Apparel sheer jersey deep v-necks here.

Rollins College Think Sustainably Tote Bags

Rollins College Think Sustainably Tote Bag picture

In addition to the Sustainability Coordinator shirts we printed earlier this month for Rollins College, we followed them up with some great tote bags.

There are on a natural, 100% cotton canvas totes, very similar to the shirts.  Of course, we used our waterbase ink to keep them even more natural!

SharePoint Saturday Hits Atlanta

SharePoint shirt

The crew at Zero-G Creative hit us up once again, this time for SharePoint Saturday shirts.

SharePoint Saturday is hitting Atlanta this weekend to gather SharePoint architects, developers, and other professionals that work with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.  SharePoint Saturday is FREE, open to the public and is your local chance to immerse yourself in SharePoint!

The guys at Zero-G Creative did the art on these which came out killer.  It's a great clean, simple, slightly distressed image which works very well in a waterbase ink application.

We then printed these shirts on our signature, tagless fine jersey shirts in navy with a very soft grey discharge ink.

Dogs Love A Nice Bath Too

nootie in orlando picture

kuhlua dog pictureTogether with our friends at Exposed PR & Events in Ft. Lauderdale, we recently printed shirts for Nootie, a great new company specializing in pet shampoo.  Nootie is far more than pet shampoo though making the first ever pet shampoo and daily spritz in one bottle.

Patrick was lucky enough to score a sample of Nootie which Kahlua (on the right) was rather delighted with :)

As for the shirts, Nooite opted for American Apparel.

To grab a bottle of Nootie for yourself (or your pet), check out www.nootie.com.

Celebrating The Gift Of Life Through Transplant

florida hospital transplant reunion shirt backThe Florida Hospital Transplant Center in Orlando is celebrating its 2nd Annual Transplant Reunion on Sunday the 11th.  Together with Geiger, we were fortunate enough to provide the custom t-shirts for the event.

The back of this shirt began as a two color, just green and black with gradients of black making up the grey box.  Once we say the art, it was clear a two color would be a rather disappointing delivery.  Although the black gradient making up the grey box may look great on a computer screen, we felt the end result on a t-shirt would be a bit lackluster.

We opted to turn this into a three color, adding a grey ink to "build" the gift box seen on the back.  The waterbase inks gave a great blend and, as usual, an amazingly soft and breathable feel.

We want to wish the Florida Hospital and all of their transplant patients and donors the best this weekend as they celebrate the gift of life!

We're Rocking Timepieces From Time-Peace

time-peace shirt in black picture

We recently connected with long time client Time-Peace out of Ft. Lauderdale and were able to score a few of their timepieces.  Time-Peace is a revolutionary, new-age watch and clock company aimed at helping people change their perception of time so they can stop worrying and start Being.  The goal at Time-Peace is to help create a radical shift in the way people view the world by realizing our interconnectedness through the idea of living in the present moment.

I must say, I've had so many complements on my Time-Peace!  I was at Merrigan's Boutique in Orlando one afternoon and a lady wanted to buy it right off my wrist.  I held onto it :)

Give these guys a look though.  The watches are amazingly priced in the $35 range!

Much love for Time-Peace, give them a look: www.time-peace.org

The Email Counting T-Shirt

No, it's not on the drawing board for us :)  Pretty innovative though, until it shocks your nipples off!
